Father, forgive us for continually moving away from this directive instead of moving toward it. You even went so far as to explain why You set this up. How many of Your blessings do we miss because we ignore Your Word? How disappointed are You that we have taken it upon ourselves to make Your Word serve us instead of us serving Your Word. How can You even look upon us as a society in complete neglect of Your Word? I plead the blood of Jesus upon us...
