On Second Thought...

Esther was taken to King Xerxes at the royal palace in early winter of the seventh year of his reign. And the king loved Esther more than any of the other young women. He was so delighted with her that he set the royal crown on her head and declared her queen instead of Vashti. [Esther 2.16-17]

According to an earlier verse (12), the phrase "taken to King Xerxes"  above specifically meant taken to his bed for sex.

At this point, I am going to stop. I had written some thoughts that were only confusing and consequently, on second thought deleted them based on the fact that I am not prepared to discuss this topic in any measure.

I will say this however: we all need to face the Bible for what it says. We also need to understand all that the Bible directly and indirectly implies as well. But going off what the Bible implies requires a thorough knowledge of all the Bible says so as to avoid any possible misunderstanding. I don't think I have attained to that thorough understanding...

Father, I want to understand all I possibly can from the Bible. I want to live and walk in all the power I am required to live and walk in as a believer in You and Your Son, Jesus.
