“And because you have forgotten me and turned your back on me, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: You must bear the consequences of all your lewdness and prostitution.” [Ezekiel 23.35]
Thank God for grace, right?
Is there grace for this in our New Testament times?
Is there grace for us when we have forgotten and turned our backs on God?
I think to declare, "Grace, Grace!" when we have forgotten and turned our backs on God is a disgusting disrespect for the Cross and Christ Who bore it.
And, for the record, I would rather be wrong in repenting (and not needing to) than to be wrong in not repenting (and needing to).
Father, please forgive me for trying to include under grace my intentional disregard for You and all that is right. Forgive me for embracing unholy things all the while declaring, "Grace!"
