Much To Learn

Son of man, describe to the people of Israel the Temple I have shown you, so they will be ashamed of all their sins. Let them study its plan, and they will be ashamed of what they have done. Describe to them all the specifications of the Temple—including its entrances and exits—and everything else about it. Tell them about its decrees and laws. Write down all these specifications and decrees as they watch so they will be sure to remember and follow them. [Ezekiel 43.10-11]

The Temple, as decribed to Ezekiel, would, by its very description, bring conviction of sins. Is this a picture of the Holy Spirit (Whom Jesus said would bring conviction)?

This is a very interesting thought - and worthy of much consideration. 

I wonder, if we actually consider the work of the Holy Spirit as it correlates to the plan of the Temple, if we would begin to better understand His work today?  

Every single Temple dimension, entrance and exit has meaning and a corresponding work of the Holy Spirit.

We have much to learn!

Father, I never realized how the very plans of the Temple were concieved to bring conviction. Help me to better understand Your Spirit as I consider the Temple's design.
