Burden Of Responsibility

He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. [Revelation 1.6a]

There is really nothing left to the imagination in John's description of what Jesus did for us.

This is why I hold to my belief that we need to grasp more Kingdom thinking! This is what we need to be reaching for with our lives and efforts! We should strive to be everything the Bible claims we are. We should,  indeed, "Seek first the Kingdom of God..."!

John said Jesus has made us a Kingdom of priests for God. This actually makes perfect sense if, in fact, we take the Kingdom of God seriously as a family business into which Jesus has given us not only rite of passage, but the burden of responsibility!

Father, help us to live out what You have ordained for our lives through Jesus!
