Something's Got To Give! (right?)

Is a person to just sit back and let God do what God will do?

In my case, I have been intently praying for the last six to seven months for direction, and still I have no idea what the LORD's "purpose" is for me at this time. Not only does it not feel right to do nothing, but it is creating a financial disaster! I need a plan, but I don't feel like God has given it!

Everything in me is screaming, "something's got to give!" but what if God's purpose is not to be revealed until 'tomorrow'? How paralyzing is that?

Is God saying to me to go ahead with my plans, but be sure to understand that His will will be done regardless? Is it wise then to proceed with my plans if I feel no direction from God whatsoever?

I want to be in the center of God's will! Is that possible?

Father, I believe I am sincere in wanting Your will in and through my life! However, I have been unable to determine what Your will is! Help!
