No harm comes to the godly, but the wicked have their fill of trouble. [Proverbs 12.21]
Trouble chases sinners, while blessings reward the righteous. [Proverbs 13.21]
You know, all the talk (teachings and doctrine) about troubles for the Godly really doesn't hold much credibility against these two verses in Proverbs! We have been so indoctrinated with the "trials and tribulations" teaching that I fear we have discarded the basic understanding of God's desire to bless His followers!
Father, I want my first and foremost understanding of You to be that You are good and that Your faithful love endures forever!
