Resolution

Blessed are those who wash their robes.  They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life.  Outside the city are the dogs—the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. [Revelation 22.14-15]

As I read the last reading from the One Year Chronological Bible for this year, I realized just how ignorant I am of the Bible in general, let alone the book of Revelation.  There are many questions to be asked and answers to be sought out - all a part of spiritual growth - in learning more about the Bible.

One question that I have today is in reference to the statement above about the New Jerusalem...  I have been of the understanding that by the time of this city's appearance that all Godless people have been cast into the Lake of Fire.  So, who are those mentioned in verse 15 as the "dogs" outside the city?

Father, as I consider the year to come, please help me to ask the right questions, and in so doing, learn what You have for me in the New Year!  Amen - Even so, come LORD JESUS!
