What a statement!
I wish I could feel good about making that claim - but I don't. But that's not to say that I should not try!
As believers, if the world does not see Jesus in us, then what do we have to offer otherwise?
Quick answer: Nothing.
Long answer: Nothing.
Quite frankly, if we are not mirroring Jesus to the world, then we are not living a life of faith and faithfulness. And, to mirror Jesus means to be near enough to Him to do so!
The 'size' of Jesus seen by those closest to us is directly correlated to our own proximity to Him. So, for us to most effectively mirror Christ, we must be as close to Him as possible!
Father, I want to glorify You today by mirroring Jesus to those I come into contact with! Help me to know Jesus more!
