But there is one thing I want you to know: The head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. [1 Corinthians 11.3]
Okay, how does a believer reconcile this statement and the discussion following and still remain in good graces with modern demands of Equal Rights? How does one deal with this entire section?
Paul's topic of discussion in this portion of 1 Corinthians is polarizing to say the least! How does one abide by the mandate of 1 Corinthians 11.3 and still be accepted in modern society?
But wait! Why would a Bible-believing Christian even want to be accepted by modern society especially if it requires obvious violation of Bible values and direction?
Father, I don't know the answers to these questions. I would like to think that I am a strict follower of the Bible, but I find myself quite fond of being accepted everywhere I go...
