A Lot Of Talk

For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power. [1 Corinthians 4.20]

For all the posts to this my blog - all this talk - it worries me that that is all it is... talk.  The question - the real question - is, "Am I living by God's power?"

It worries me also that there are literally untold numbers of books and studies and writings and discourses on all things spiritual - all of which come and go without much ado - all of which are attached to no power - all of which really affect no change.

If my life affects no change in anyone else. then why am I here?  What am I doing?  What is the purpose besides just sucking oxygen?

Father, I want to live by Your power!  I want to live on purpose and with purpose!  Help me to count for Your Kingdom!
