As much as I hate to admit it, Hezekiah would have been better off had he gone ahead and died!
True, God miraculously healed Hezekiah, but the ultimate outcome was undesirable.
Perhaps Hezekiah could have requested a less painful death rather than not to die... who knows?
Father, when I make my requests of You, I want them to be in accordance with Your plans - especially since I can count on Your plans ultimately being best for me! However, I do not wish to displease You by failing to count on Your power in any given situation!
