Much To Learn

The stories of Jephthah and Samson were part of today's OYCB reading.  I find them both rather incredible.

Jephthah's vow (and subsequent human sacrifice) is appalling.

Samson's sheer stupidity is appalling.

And yet, these are part of God's Story.

Father, I have much to learn...
