Realizing how much the man understood, Jesus said to him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” And after that, no one dared to ask him any more questions. [Mark 12.34]

And then there were no more questions?
Hello! This scripture draws my attention every time I read it. If someone tells me I am "not far" from a destination, my next questions would certainly be, "Then how much further?" or "Which way?" But this interesting part of Mark's gospel says no one asked any more questions.
Amazing! Were they simply content to be "near" the kingdom and not in it?
Father, I want to be as close to You as possible. I don't want to be just a church-goer, a bible study-er, or even just a pray-er... I want to be one with You!
