YES!

“Yes,” says the LORD, “I will do mighty miracles for you, like those I did when I rescued you from slavery in Egypt.” [Micah 7.15]

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. [2 Corinthians 1.20]

Need a miracle? God says, "Yes!" In Christ, all the Old Testament comes down to one thing: faith in Christ alone.

Our practical minds choke on this, but it is God's will - God's Way - God's plan.

The only effort required from us is our effort to be "in Christ" - and that effort is accomplished entirely by faith.

We must understand, however, the world deceivingly and persistently pumps us full of selfishness. We simply cannot be "in ourselves" and "in Christ" at the same time. To be in Christ, we must repent of and unlearn our selfish ways and simply follow Jesus and His example.

Our selfish ways actually prevent us from receiving all the abundance of God's provision - all the while, in Christ God has said, "Yes, I will do mighty miracles for you!"

Father, forgive me of my selfishness and help me to proactively avoid it so that I might be found "in Christ."
