Who Is The Liar?

God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. [Psalm 18.30]

1. God's way is perfect.
2. All God's promises are true.
3. God is a shield for all who look to Him for protection.

Period.

Anything different is not a "God" problem, but a "man" problem. Number 3 above makes this very clear. God is a shield for all who look to Him for protection. The qualifier for anyone to enjoy God as their shield is this: look to Him for protection. If God is not protecting us, then it is because we are NOT looking to Him to do so!

Will we argue though with God? Will we defiantly contradict God's Word in our "unprotected" state of affairs saying we ARE looking to Him? And yet this is what people do all the time! We say, "I am trusting God but things are still a mess around me!" My question then is this: who is the liar here? 

We better be sure to use wisdom here instead of pride!

Father, my problems are my own fault for not trusting You (regardless what I claim). Forgive me for my testimony of faithlessness! Help my unbelief!
