After this, David asked the LORD, “Should I move back to one of the towns of Judah?” “Yes,” the LORD replied. Then David asked, “Which town should I go to?” “To Hebron,” the LORD answered. [2 Samuel 2.1]
So matter of fact is this conversation between God and David!
We have little that elaborates how this transaction of words transpired, but, suffice it to say, it took place.
However it took place, David was confident enough with the conversation to act upon it.
How confident are we in our conversation with God?
I wish we were all like David! But unfortunately, most today struggle to be so confident in communication with God.
Today, I am committed to meditate on my relationship with God as it pertains to how I communicate with Him.
Father, help us to communicate with You as openly as did David!
