But the Levites will camp around the Tabernacle of the Covenant to protect the community of Israel from the LORD’s anger. The Levites are responsible to stand guard around the Tabernacle.” [Numbers 1.53]
This is exactly what Jesus is to us.
There is no way to approach God except through Jesus. Our being "in Him" is the only way God will accept us. Otherwise, we would be destroyed.
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. [John 14.6]
God's holiness is not to be trifled with.
Father, help me to consider the role of Jesus in my ability to come before You more deeply today than ever before!
