Abram replied to the king of Sodom, “I solemnly swear to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth, that I will not take so much as a single thread or sandal thong from what belongs to you. Otherwise you might say, ‘I am the one who made Abram rich.’ [Genesis 14.22-23]
Abram refused to take wealth from the King of Sodom in preservation of his testimony.
What is my testimony?
What is your testimony?
Is my life situated in such a way that ONLY God is seen and said to be my sole source and supply?
Is it seen in me and said about me that God ALONE is clearly my forgiver, my Healer, my Redeemer from destruction, my Crowner of lovingkindness and tender mercies, and the Satisfier of my mouth with good things so my youth is renewed like the eagle's?
If not, why not?
Is my life so dependent upon the world and all its ways that I have no testimony of being sanctified (set apart) unto God?
These questions matter!
Father, I want my testimony to be that You are my All in All!
