Then the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood before the people and said, “This is what God says: Why do you disobey the LORD’s commands and keep yourselves from prospering? You have abandoned the LORD, and now he has abandoned you!” [2 Chronicles 24.20]
Disobeying God prevents people from prospering.
Sounds like the perfect situation in which to repent.
Father, forgive me for disobedience in my life. Even if its unseen attitudes of rebellion and pride that I am currently unaware of - disobedience that my heart (deceitful above all things) has prevented me from recognizing, please reveal those that I might repent and be restored.
