Lacking food and water, people will look at one another in terror, and they will waste away under their punishment. [Ezekiel 4.17]
What is missing from this scenario? The people do not look for the LORD.
The difference between God's true people and people who are of the world is seen clearly when hardship comes.
The Spirit of the Living God brings peace - even in the midst of storms (as Jesus demonstrated).
Father, as punishment seems to unfold upon my nation, may I be found in peace - Your peace. Forgive us for pride and greed and lust. Forgive me for the same.
