Fear of the LORD is a life-giving fountain; it offers escape from the snares of death. [Proverbs 14.27]
The fountain of life is revealed! It is to fear God.
To fear God leads one to repentance.
Repentance brings every imaginable blessing. Repentance brings all the good God is and has to offer.
The un-repentant heart will know nothing of God's goodness or blessings.
It really is that simple. However, religion has, for the most part, thoroughly confused the whole concept of good and evil - blessings and curses - in its pride-driven effort to 'save face.'
Isn't it time we take God and His Word respectively for Who He is and what the Bible says?
Father, I want my life to reflect Your blessings. I repent for all the wickedness and unbelief I have harbored in my heart. I repent for all the evil in my heart that I do not even know exists there. May my life be a demonstration and channel for Your blessings!
