“For many are called, but few are chosen.” [Matthew 22.14]
The conclusion of the Parable of the Great Feast is that many are called, but few are chosen.
Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven could be illustrated by this story.
A great feast was prepared and and there was evidently an invitation list.
Those invited did not respond.
The king then invited any and all.
But not all were prepared.
Forgiveness is God's call to any and all.
Forgiveness is man's proper response (wedding garment).
Although all are invited to God's forgiveness, only those who forgive enjoy its benefits.
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” [Matthew 22.14]
Father, help me to learn more about forgiveness and make it my focus.
