When all the surrounding kingdoms heard that the LORD himself had fought against the enemies of Israel, the fear of God came over them. [2 Chronicles 20.29]
What would it take for the fear of God to come over His opponents and the opponents of His servants today?
It would take a publicly-known testimony that God had fought for His people and prevailed over their opponents.
What would it take for God to fight for His people today?
It would take a publicly-demonstrated trust in Him alone (worshiping Him instead of preparing for war).
What would it take for God's people to worship Him instead of fighting enemies today?
It would take selfless faith by God's people that no matter the outcome, they will trust in Him because the victory is His.
Father, help me to stop fighting the world with carnal weapons. Help me to ascend to the heights of heaven with worship and see the battle (and the victory) from Your vantage point.
