Jesus Came To Give - Not To Take

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” [Matthew 20.28]

Here is Jesus' example to us in a nutshell.

Jesus came to give - not to take.

Until we get that mindset established in our hearts, we will continue with 'religion as usual.' We will certainly not experience the power of God in any consistency and we will not shine the Light of Jesus to the world.

Father, help me to see that faith is a tool with which to serve You and Your Kingdom.
