How joyful are those who fear the LORD—all who follow his ways! You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be! Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine, flourishing within your home. Your children will be like vigorous young olive trees as they sit around your table. That is the LORD’s blessing for those who fear him. May the LORD continually bless you from Zion. May you see Jerusalem prosper as long as you live. May you live to enjoy your grandchildren. May Israel have peace [Psalm 128.1-6]
Now, that's a blessing!
Those who fear the LORD will enjoy their earnings. Their work will yield good things and they will prosper.
Those who fear the LORD will have domestic (marital) blessings.
Those who fear the LORD will not be separated from their children, but they will be around their table.
Those who fear the LORD will see Jerusalem prosper.
Those who fear the LORD will live to enjoy grandchildren.
Those who fear the LORD will see Israel have peace.
It sounds to me like it is better to fear the LORD!
Father, I want to fear You. I want to worship You and no other - because You are the only God and there is no other. You alone deserve to be praised!
