Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also called on his name. They cried to the LORD for help, and he answered them. He spoke to Israel from the pillar of cloud, and they followed the laws and decrees he gave them. O LORD our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they went wrong. [Psalm 99.6-8]
We do good - we do bad.
When we do good however we must be careful to remain mindful of who and what we are. Otherwise we sin - even if it is in becoming proud in doing good.
Wow. A repentant lifestyle really is the way to go.
Father, I want to be "humble and contrite" before You at all times.
