In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful. [2 Chronicles 31.21]
It is a stretch of the scriptures to say that God may or may not bless obedience.
There are numerous instances throughout the Bible that declare emphatically that God's blessing reveals itself in success.
Where did we ever get the silly unfounded idea that God's blessing was random? Wherever we got it, we need to put it back!
For the astute reader of God's Word, there is more than enough evidence that God's blessing is just that - blessing.
Let's not be silly calling good evil and evil good - God's blessings are desirable. God's blessings are good. God's blessings do not hurt or cause pain.
If we are in trouble, there is only one conclusion to draw: we need to repent.
Father, I want to remind myself, based entirely upon Your Word, Who You are increasingly more every day. Help me to be increasingly more sure!
