The LORD has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said, “Don’t call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don’t live in dread of what frightens them. Make the LORD of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble. He will keep you safe. [Isaiah 8.11-14]
I am so excited how God is bringing His Word, my circumstances, prayer, and world events all together.
There is a definite word here, I believe, for preppers. It is not that people should not have a game plan for social and political breakdown, but there needs to be something more... People should make the LORD holy in their lives!
What does that mean, "Make the LORD holy in your life"?
I believe it means that we should constantly remind ourselves that God is indeed God. That He is in control. That He is LORD of all. That He is our strength. That He is our righteousness. That He is our hope. That He is our provider. That He is our healer. That He is our peace. That He is our defender. That He is our fortress. That He is our shield. That He is our refuge. That He is our protector. Basically, that He is our everything.
If, then, God is for us, who can be against us? There is no amount of chaos in the world greater that the God of heaven. We should not fear chaos. We should fear the One Who is greater than chaos!
I am not saying let's all lay down and take a nap. But I am saying we can rest in The LORD Almighty God!
Father, I want, more and more every day, to make You holy in my life!
