You must present these offerings to the LORD at your annual festivals. These are in addition to the sacrifices and offerings you present in connection with vows, or as voluntary offerings, burnt offerings, grain offerings, liquid offerings, or peace offerings.” [Numbers 29.39]
I just had a thought today when reading about all the sacrifices required of Israel:
Why did Israel need mannah if they had all this livestock and grain from which they could offer all these sacrifices?
I do not have an answer for this question but will be sure to be paying attention for one!
Father, my question above is real and, I believe, important. Help me to see why Israel complained about “no food” when they seemed to have sufficient livestock and grain.
