Kingdom Work Is About Others

Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble. The LORD protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies. The LORD nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health. [Psalm 41.1-3]

Kingdom work is never wrong because Kingdom work is always about others.

This is the message the Church today needs to hear and believe.

The Kingdom is not about "what's in it for me."

The difference between one who experiences true Kingdom victory and one who does not may be found in the difference between one who believes God's Word is FOR HIM and the one who believes God's Word is FOR HIM TO GIVE.

Good thing: "Jesus died for me" vs. God (Kingdom) thing: "Jesus died for others"

For God so loved the WORLD... May Your will be done on EARTH... both these scriptures are plural in their object. We cannot forget that.

Father, help us to grasp the fact that You have commissioned me to reach out, not tend to myself. In fact, Jesus  You would take care of me as I seek Your Kingdom first.
