“Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me. [Matthew 12.30]
As comfortable as folks may feel who "take a break from God," they are, in fact, working against God in that situation.
There are many in this world who are content to go to church and even give money, but that is not enough.
There are many who are content to send their kids to church, but that is not enough.
There are many who "go along" with a spouse in the things of God, but that is not enough.
There are many who are harmless in their life and demeanor, but that is not enough.
The fact is, if a person is not engaged is working as Jesus worked, then, according to Jesus Himself, that person is an enemy.
Father, this has been good "mirror time" today. Help me to work with You - evidenced by how similar my life is to that of Jesus.
