Prayer

O my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to all the prayers made to you in this place. [2 Chronicles 6.40]

There's a whole lot of praying talked about in today's OYCB reading. I think it good to pay particular close attention to it!

The discussion is in context of the dedication of Solomon's Temple. Pretty much every problem man could encounter is associated in these passages of scripture as directly related to sin. Furthermore, it is in the context of prayer that this sin is remedied. 

Father, help me to take such a prayerful approach as seen in the dedication of the Temple!
