Here is a little insight into the gravity of Tabernacle worship. I think modern humanity has little or no grasp of the seriousness of Tabernacle protocol and proceedings.
I spent a lot of time today trying to segregate and understand each offering described in today's and yesterday's readings. Admittedly, I didn't accomplish much. However, I did find myself understanding the verse above to indicate the importance of it all. Life was at stake if the priests failed in their execution of their duties as instructed. This was serious business.
Father, I need to understand more about the different offerings and their unique procedures. Please help me to comprehend not only the meaning of each offering, but also just the protocol for each procedure as it relates to all the others.
