For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. [Collosians 1.19-20]
I wondered today how what Paul wrote to the Colossians here relates to Jesus' instruction in Matthew 6 to pray for God's will on earth as it is in heaven.
The use of the word "reconciled" is interesting. It would seem that "reconciliation" is precisely what Jesus instructed His follwers to pray for too!
There is much for Christians to learn and understand about reconciling!
Father please help us to understand the full meaning of reconciliation as it pertains to Your Kingdom and our salvation.
