In the 2 Corinthians portion of today's OYCB reading, it just seems like Paul is ranting and, frankly, to me, not making much sense. There is obviously much more to the story than Paul's' response found here. We have clues as to what it is all about, but we really don't have details from which to formulate concrete theology or doctrine.
And yet, doctrines have been formulated from the vagueness of this letter from Paul to the church in Corinth.
Maybe it's just me...
Father, I just don't feel I am engaged today in what Paul is talking about. It all seems to disjointed and contextually confusing in the absence of more detail. Help me to get it. Eventually!
