From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer. [Psalm 130.1-2]
Some days this is just the way it is. Despair is a reality of life and crying out to God remains an option for every person who experiences it.
However, I wonder how many of us actually cry out, but just not to God? We may cry out to whomever is listening - the government, family, friends...
Father, in my own despair, I want to be sure to cry out to You for Your help! Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer!
