The Lord says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name. [Isaiah 65.1]
Wow, I cannot help but interject the USA in this verse from Isaiah.
We can learn a little more about the character of God here in that He stands ready to respond when genuinely asked for help. In principle, we should understand that God will be found by those who seek Him. God is there always wanting relationship with His own.
Father, help me today to remind myself to ask You to help in my every circumstance - to seek You first as a first priority in every situation.
