Then I Realized...

Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was so foolish and ignorant—I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. [Psalm 73.21-22]

Then I realized...

This is precisely the point we all need to come to. Everyone needs that moment of realization. When will it come? Who knows?

I feel like there will be a lot of people who, perhaps eternally too late, will have this revelation about themselves and their stance regarding Jesus Christ and God's entire Story as told by the Bible. There are those now who ridicule and belittle God and His people who will, in a moment, realize the bitterness of their hearts that rendered them less-than-human in their actions.

This not only applies to ungodly, un-redeemed folks, but to the 'sheep of the fold' as well. We who believe in God are just as prone to confusion and wrong thinking. The time will come for us as well (maybe many times) to realize that we have been dull and foolish. We will come to our senses spiritually speaking!

Father, help me realize!!
