O Lord, I cry out to you. I will keep on pleading day by day. [Psalm 88.13]
Now that's commitment.
The psalmist here points out a lot of negative stuff. Specifically, he says his life is full or troubles, he is as good as dead, forgotten, in the darkest depths, his friends are driven away, he is in a trap and blinded by his tears. This guy does not have much going for him and yet, he is committed to God.
There is just not much to elaborate upon here except that faithfulness to the LORD, in the face of horrific circumstances, is good.
Father, in my own difficulties, I will continue to plead with You for solutions!
