Justice

Then at last everyone will say, “There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth.” [Psalm 58.11]

Sometimes it seems like everything is out of control and that God is not involved in the affairs of men.

We have all had this thought from time to time and anyone who has ever read the Psalms is aware that David had it too.

We all too carry the hope that justice will 'come around.' There is a saying, "What goes around, comes around." Some call it Karma. But the Bible calls it justice and we all have an inner desire for it - religious or not.

There is a resolve when justice is served. The universe seems to be in order when evil is thwarted and the good guy wins. It is only natural for humans to gravitate toward justice because God, our Creator, is just.

Father, even through all the chaos in my life, I see that You are Just! I take hope in this fact. I will be patient in this fact.
