Faithful Prayer Is Our Participation In God's Will

Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. [Psalm 68.19]

Do we believe this or not?

If, in the midst of our trials and hardships or our victories and praise, we fail to recognize that our God carries us in His arms, then, we have ultimately failed! It matters not how difficult the path - if we truly believe we are in His arms, what can deter us? it matters not how high a mountain we stand upon - if we truly believe we are in His arms, we know we didn't climb it!

So, is there anything we can do to determine whether we are in hardship or victory if, in fact, the LORD is carrying us? I think so. We can pray. Our faithful prayer may well influence the direction of God's steps. If that is the case, we'd best get to praying and praying more! Faithful prayer is our participation in God's will.

Father, I know I am in Your hands. Help me to remember this throughout this day and every day hereafter! Help me also to pray more faithfully - to believe I can participate in the direction You choose!
