Plans Backfire

If ever a guy had his plans backfire, it was Haman.

Haman's story could be analogous of the results of living out a hatred for the Jews or it could simply be about not following the will of God.  Either way, the outcome is disastrous for Haman and his family.  If the outcome were not so terminal, it would almost make a good comedy with its course of events and the way everything that could go wrong went wrong for Haman.

But it was no comedy.  I believe it stands as a sober testimony for both relating to God's chosen people and following the LORD's will!

Father, help me to see the futility of working against Your people and Your will!
