In Ezekiel 23, the prophet relays a message from the LORD that is, at very best, disgusting. It seems the LORD had every intention of disgusting the hearers and readers of this message to make His point! His point was precisely that He was disgusted with Samaria and Jerusalem and that He viewed the two cities with the same disdain as the two sisters described in His message! From the sisters allowing their breasts to be fondled to lusting for genitals the size of a donkey's and emissions like those of a horse, the LORD's description leaves nothing to the imagination. No doubt, the LORD intended to use a bit of 'shock value' to get His message across.
