Is it just me, or does it seem like things got complicated when Israel came out of Egypt? From Abraham to Moses, what changed?
The Covenant and Law accompanying it added a lot of detail to what before seemed like a fairly non-complex religion. Starting with the Ten Commandments, then the additional terms of the Covenant, the rules continually piled on even to the point of meticulous detail being laid out for the Tabernacle and the priests' garments.
Again, from Abraham to Moses, what changed?
Father, the details around the Ten Commandments, the Covenant, and the requirements regarding the Tabernacle are overwhelming. Is that what You intended? Help me on this journey to know You more and gain increasingly better understanding of Your relationship to Israel and all mankind.
