For what it is worth, the size of each tribe of Israel (including the Levites) in order of their size is as follows:
| Judah | 74600 |
| Dan | 62700 |
| Simeon | 59300 |
| Zebulun | 57400 |
| Issachar | 54400 |
| Naphtali | 53400 |
| Reuben | 46500 |
| Gad | 45650 |
| Asher | 41500 |
| Ephraim | 40500 |
| Benjamin | 35400 |
| Manasseh | 32200 |
| Levi | 22000 |
I suppose these numbers are of no consequence, however nothing else stood out to me from today's reading so I thought I would organize the tribes by size here from largest to smallest.
It must have been an amazing sight to witness the Israelites passing by on their journey. How impressive would that have been especially since there was an order to everything? How long would it take for the entirety of the people of Israel to pass by any given area? Did they walk single file, two by two, or as a spread-out group?
Father, I know I have accomplished nothing here today except to ponder with awe the thought of Israel on their journey. If there is more to this story that I need to learn, please teach me!
