But by means of their suffering, he rescues those who suffer. For he gets their attention through adversity. [Job 36.15]
Five days ago, I wrote some thoughts on suffering. Today, I went back and re-read those thoughts because the verse above very much reminded of them.
In the midst of suffering, our faith is given the opportunity to grow. And what has God given us besides faith whereby we might be rescued from our troubles?
The profundity of Job 36.15 is off the charts! So be it!
Father, I don't even know what to say today. I am overwhelmed by Your amazing ways. Help me to properly consider suffering in my life. Be glorified in me.
