It is hard to imagine 600,000+ people doing anything in unison! But 600,000 was only the head count of males - it is not unreasonable to think there were at least than many women and certainly even more children! So, in the land of Goshen in Egypt, there were likely at least 1,000,000+ Jews who not only celebrated the first Passover, but also mobilized for exodus from Egypt. Incredible!
Since there were no "Evening News", telephones, or Internet social media, the task of simply notifying every Israelite family was surely daunting. And yet, it happened. After the many signs and wonders performed to convince Pharaoh to let Israel go, certainly this social phenomenon is no less a miracle.
Father, I believe there is something "social" about the Jewish people that we are certainly unaware of today.
