Once???

Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. [Ephesians 2.1]

Once???

If we are so adamant about holding to the law, then "once" (as if in the past) means nothing at all. Holding to the law gives present life to it and therefore present death to the lawbreaker. If we defend the law (as pronounced in the OT), then we are signing our own spiritual death warrant.
