A Difference?

And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment. [John 3.36]

Once again today it would seem that judgment is the default condition of all humanity. John appeared to have a grasp of that fact when he made the statement above. So, if that is indeed the case, what IS God's angry judgment? How is that angry judgment manifested? What does it look like?

In contrast, what does it look like when that angry judgment is replaced with eternal life?

Do we dare say it does not make any difference?

There seem to be no real indicators today between the "damned" and the "redeemed" - it appears to me everyone pretty much has the same fate, fighting the same cancer, struggling with the same economy, and fearing the same death.

Does it trouble no one else?

Father, I believe I HAVE been set free. I believe the Light of Jesus has indeed brought me into truth and broken the chains of bondage and darkness. Let my life reflect that Light! Let my steps be those of a free man! Let everything in me declare that I am redeemed!
